Pukekohe Park is an industry-leading Thoroughbred Training Centre which has a modern 15 metre wide all-weather Sand training track with a dual lamp lighting system, three grass tracks, a plough track, cinders and a trotting ring. The stabling area caters for over 190 horses with tie-ups, weighing scales and a sand roll available for use. Barrier Education is held on the No.2 grass track every Thursday using the Club’s 8 stall overhead Simtrack gates. And Course Proper jump outs are held after most race meetings.

The Race Track is 1918 metres long with a front straight of 447 metres , the second longest in New Zealand. The racing surface was recently reconstructed with new drainage and irrigation systems installed. It is also complemented with one of the new Mawsafe Plastic Running Rails.
Auckland District Apprentice Jockey School
Pukekohe Park is also home to the Auckland District Apprentice School which is a well equipped facility including mechanical horses for our up and coming jockeys. The school has experienced tutors including the recently appointed riding master Noel Harris.
