Here's your preview to our upcoming raceday, complete with a track update and tips to help provide you all the info you need.

Track update

On Friday morning, the track was rated a Heavy 9.  There is no rain forecast for either Friday or Saturday but with heavy dews/frosts, we are not expecting the track to improve from its current rating.

Hear what Pukekohe Park track manager, Emery White, has to say about the track conditions (as at Friday morning).

FEATURE RACE PREVIEW

Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Futurity Stakes

The 136th running of the Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Futurity Stakes has drawn a field of non-winners so not the strongest of races on paper this year.

On top, I have selected the Jenna Mahoney trained, Shez Class. The daughter of Vadamos hit the line hard, finishing third at her debut at Avondale and has subsequently won a trial. In what is an even race, I think she can win. The dangers include Contagious and Leedox.
